Lion Corporation (President Sadayoshi Fujishige) announces the nationwide release of an improved Ban Deodorant Powder Spray in February 2010. Featuring an enduring pure scent, this spray-type product effectively controls perspiration and odors thanks to its new long-lasting fragrance blend. At the same time, Lion will release Ban Refresh Shower Sheets in a new “Water Lily” fragrance that effectively wipe away sticky perspiration and odors, leaving skin feeling fresh and dry. |

Objective of Introducing the New products
According to a 2009 Lion survey, a significant number of women attach importance to rapid suppression of perspiration and odors when purchasing powder-spray antiperspirants. Next in the ranking were products that feature pleasant fragrances. Moreover, 16.9% of respondents who use antiperspirants believe that such products lose their effectiveness when the scent disappears.
Lion will release the improved Ban Deodorant Powder Spray. This spray-type product features a long-lasting formula that binds medicated ingredients to the skin for extended periods as well as an enduring pure scent brought about by a new blend of long-lasting fragrances. Thanks to this double formula, perspiration and odors are effectively controlled. At the same time, Lion is set to release Ban Refresh Shower Sheets in a new “Water Lily” fragrance that is currently popular among women. This is an addition to the Ban series of deodorant sheet-type products that effectively wipe away sticky perspiration and odors, leaving skin feeling fresh and dry.

The antibacterial agent, isopropyl methylphenol (IPMP), and the antiperspirant component, aluminum chlorohydrate (ACH), are blended to effectively prevent noticeable and unpleasant odors and perspiration. The long-lasting formula*1 adheres medicated ingredients to the skin for a relatively long period, prolonging the strong deodorant effect. |

The medicated ingredients adhere steadfastly to the skin owing to the use of an isostearic acid compound. Sprayed once in the morning, the strong deodorant effect provides worry-free protection throughout the day. |
