Lion Corporation (President Sadayoshi Fujishige) announces the nationwide release of High-Density Ban Medicated Deodorant Powder Spray and High Density Ban Medicated Deodorant Sheets on Wednesday, March 17, 2010. High-Density Ban Medicated Deodorant Powder Spray is a spray-type antiperspirant that offers intensive protection against odors at their source. This is due to Lion’s proprietary compound powder—which bursts on contact with perspiration, adhering deodorizing and cooling components evenly to the skin—as well as to the product’s blend of antiperspirant components and antibacterial agents. Containing a blend of active sterilizing and antiperspirant components, High-Density Ban Medicated Deodorant Sheets are the first in the market for sheet-type antiperspirant for women to be classed as a quasi-drug. |

Objective of Introducing the New products
A Lion survey revealed a significant degree of concern among women regarding body odor, with 98% of respondents indicating that their own body odor bothers them. Moreover, the 44% of respondents who are year-round antiperspirant users are extremely sensitive about odor, using a combination of different types of antiperspirants and deodorants.
Lion will release High-Density Ban Medicated Deodorant Powder Spray and High-Density Ban Medicated Deodorant Sheets. High-Density Ban Medicated Deodorant Powder Spray offers intensive protection against odors at their source. This is due to Lion’s proprietary compound powder—which bursts on contact with perspiration, adhering deodorizing and cooling components evenly to the skin—as well as to the product’s blend of antiperspirant components and antibacterial agents. Containing a blend of active sterilizing components and antiperspirant agents, High-Density Ban Medicated Deodorant Sheets are the first in the market for sheet-type antiperspirant for women to be classed as a quasi-drug.
In addition, Milky-Type High-Density Ban Medicated Deodorant Roll On will be released nationwide in February 2010, featuring new packaging.
