On April 9, 2025, Lion Corporation (Representative Director, President and Executive Officer: Masayuki Takemori) will launch nationwide sales of LOOK Plus Whole Toilet Antibacterial & Deodorizing Fogger, a fumigant-type cleaner that employs a silver-ion fog to disinfect the entire toilet chamber, including such difficult to clean spots such as on walls, ventilation fans and behind cisterns, while preventing the development of new odors.

In a Lion survey,*4 roughly 80% of consumers expressed dissatisfaction regarding the cleaning of their toilet areas, noting that odors tend to reemerge after a while even if the toilet is regularly cleaned. Around 50% believed bacteria that has propagated on floors, walls, and in inaccessible crevices to be the cause of those odors. On the other hand, while about 80% of consumers reportedly clean their toilet bowls and toilet chamber floors at least once a week, this figure is lower when it comes to hard-to-clean spots such as on walls and ventilation fans, standing at about 20%-30%, indicating that consumers’ toilet cleaning efforts are concentrated on the toilet bowl and surrounding areas.
