Web Accessibility Policy

Lion Corporation and its affiliated companies (the “Lion Group”) apply the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and JIS X 8341-3:2016 (part of the Japanese Industrial Standards) as quality standards when creating websites. In building and running these websites, the domestic Lion Group strives to secure and improve accessibility to ensure ease of use for as many customers as possible.

1. Scope

All websites run by the Lion Group

Aim to make improvements beginning with websites operated by Lion Corporation and steadily expand the application. Certain pages, including those described below, are exempt from the scope of this policy.

Specific examples
-Embedded YouTube or other video players
-Maps (Google Maps, etc.)
-Embedded objects from social media or other sites
Even when using these services, the Lion Group aims to secure accessibility where possible by providing alternative methods of accessing information, etc.

2. Target Level and Degree of Compliance

Compliance with the W3C’s WCAG 2.0 or the AA Level under JIS X 8341-3:2016

Although the above is the objective, there are also plans to incorporate support for WCAG2.1 and WCAG2.2 standards.
As used in this policy, the term “compliance” conforms with the April 2021 JIS X 8341-3:2016 compliance description guidelines for web content published by the Info-communication Access Council’s Web Accessibility Infrastructure Committee (WIAC).
