Lion Corporation (Representative Director, President and Executive Officer: Masayuki Takemori) launched the oral healthcare service “Okuchi Plus You” in July 2022 to support service for corporations under the KENKO Investment for Health. We are pleased to announce that this service has now been launched at over 200 organizations with over 100,000 users as of December 2025. Going forward, Lion will continue to expand this service to various points of contact to contribute to people’s dental and mouth health and thereby improve their quality of life.

In July 2022, Lion launched “Okuchi Plus You,” a support service provided under the KENKO Investment for Health for corporations aiming to enrich the everyday lives of their employees through the promotion of dental and mouth health. The service includes oral healthcare seminars, saliva testing, e-learning videos and other content. As of December 2025, Lion is providing this service to over 200 organizations and thus a total of over 100,000users, primarily companies that are focused on implementing the KENKO Investment for Health initiatives.
Oral health is intrinsically linked to the maintenance and improvement of physical and mental health, making oral hygiene with a particular focus on the prevention of cavities and gum disease crucial. Gum disease and other oral diseases are said to affect approximately 3.5 billion people globally. Recognizing that many of these diseases are preventable, in 2023, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced targets under its global strategy and action plan on oral health 2023–2030.*1 In Japan, in 2022 the government announced a Basic Policy that includes specific mention of lifelong dental examinations (“universal oral health checks”) and set concrete initiatives for 2025. One of these initiatives included plans to conduct oral health screenings at workplaces.*3 This has drawn wider attention to this issue across society, and since launching the service in 2022, Lion has seen five- and ten-fold increases, respectively, in the number of inquiries about introducing “Okuchi Plus You” as of December 2025. The service is being introduced not only by companies striving to improve oral healthcare under the KENKO Investment for Health, but also by health insurance societies and local governments, and we expect this trend to continue into the future.

This service aims to raise employees’ awareness of oral healthcare while providing comprehensive support for putting what they learn into practice and the creation of new habits. In addition to the activities listed below, the service provides such self-care items as toothbrushes.
With an eye to expanding its clientele to health insurance societies and local governments, Lion will continue to expand this service further, and seek to support dental and mouth health, and thereby the quality of life of more people.
