Lion Corporation (Representative Director, President and Executive Officer: Masayuki Takemori) will launch nationwide sales of SOFLAN Premium Deodorizing Fabric Softener: Sweat Odor Block, a fabric softener in its SOFLAN Premium Deodorizing Fabric Softener line specifically designed to combat the development of odors on clothing stemming from perspiration,*1 on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.

According to a survey of consumer concerns regarding clothing odors,*2 63% placed unpleasant odors from damp laundry and 61% odors caused by sweat at the top. With rising global temperatures in recent years, these issues have become prominent concerns requiring solutions.
When asked about situations where sweat odor concerns were greatest, respondents primarily cited the following: when doing laundry, when removing clothes worn all day, and when laundry piles up. This indicates a common concern about the odor that develops as sweat permeates clothing over extended periods.*3
