PT. Lion Wings (“LW”) values the establishment of good oral healthcare habits from early childhood and, jointly with local dentists, has conducted oral healthcare educational events in cooperation with educational facilities such as kindergartens and elementary schools in Indonesia since 2008.
Kindergarteners from the age of four or five and elementary school students up to ten years old are the main targets of the events, at which the importance of oral healthcare is taught through a video featuring the brand characters of KODOMO (LW’s oral healthcare product line for children) and instruction on toothbrushing techniques offered by dentists. At the end of each event, all participants, including the children and their families, brush their teeth together using the correct techniques so that they can then practice at home what they have learned.
Moreover, every year LW visits the same kindergartens and elementary schools to ensure the ongoing practice of good oral healthcare habits.
In 2025, from January to December, events were held in 10 cities with about 1,000 children participating.
In June and December 2025 LW operated a booth for Ciptadent, sold by LW, in Lampung Province, Pekanbaru, and 22 other cities, offering product samples and free dental check-ups. Approximately 170,000 residents participated in the activities, which provided an opportunity to learn the importance of creating good oral healthcare habits.
LW is participating in conferences and trade shows attended by many dentists and dental students, showcasing products under the Systema brand, with the aim of promoting good oral healthcare habits among the Indonesian public. In 2025, LW educated approximately 50,000 dentists and dental students on a number of important topics, including periodontal disease care for adults.
Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, is known worldwide for its heavy traffic and congestion. To help counter this situation, every Sunday morning the Indonesian government institutes a car-free day across about six kilometers of the city’s central roads and opens them for the general public to enjoy as pedestrians. Since 2023, LW has held an oral healthcare event during one of these “pedestrian paradise” periods to expand contact with consumers and promote brand awareness. At the LW event booth, participants receive toothpaste samples and take part in a tooth brushing experience. In 2025, approximately 80,000 people participated in the activities.
Mother’s Day in Indonesia is celebrated on December 22, while in Japan it is celebrated the second Sunday in May. In Jakarta on December 21, 2025, LW held an event to raise oral healthcare awareness among families. Dental check-ups were conducted by dentists, and educational sessions on the importance of oral healthcare were held, along with a talk show for parents/guardians led by an expert in family psychology.
In celebration of Mother’s Day, children surprised their mothers by presenting them with bouquets of flowers and handwritten letters. LW hosted a product sampling and talk event for its Ciptadent line. A total of 1,000 parents, guardians and children attended the event.
LW has launched a mobile dental clinic bus to commemorate the opening of its new factory in Surabaya. Through the introduction of this mobile dental clinic bus, which is contributing to the oral healthcare of local residents, LW aims to raise public awareness of its social contribution initiatives. At the launch ceremony on March 1, 2025, dental professionals and other stakeholders gathered, with 200 people receiving dental check-ups.
As a company that manufactures and sells products used in everyday living, and to fulfill its corporate social responsibility, LW actively engages in such social contribution activities as donating products that it sells.
